And thus, the adventure of a lifetime begins!
And thus, the adventure about a lifetime begins.

This was a really good play. Touches some interesting topics! I hope i can play some of your other works some day!
Nice, gonna download
Rather cute and charming game, if very melancholic and a tad depressing as well.
-Made a Video. (Old Video)
Haven't played it yet, but: ahhh hahahah, yes.
Such a good game, keep it up! :D
"The game is played with arrow keys/mouse." Having some difficulty getting past the part that says "Time for another cold one." I can move, but I can't seem to click anything. Am I doing something wrong?
Instead of mouse, you use the spacebar to interact. The description is misleading.
Charming and goofy, my favorite drink
Now that was trippy as hell!! We loved it!
Here is a short video we made while playing:
Very good - a plus
Gave it a go...
What a sad game. I loved the way it looks, and I like how eerie it was
This game is really neat! I like the looks of the game and the characters from the fish to the Bigfoot that Smoke meets on his way home. I noticed that the only difference in the endings is in the good ending Smoke says something, which I couldn’t understand, before the end screen. 20 / 10!
Umm this was strange and also a waste of my time the only thing I actually enjoyed about this game was the fact that the anwser choices move when your ready to go ahead and choose what you want to say. Other than that it wasn't very entertaining. It's best if you save your computer space and save yourself time
I got to befriend a fish 21/10
It would appear that I, like many others have done a video on this game.
Mine's probably the best though.
I mean, not really but I'm just trying to give myself a confidence boost.
I'm full of a lot of self-hatred .3.
20/10 video, keep it up duude!
Thanks! That really means a lot. ^w^
thank you for making this game it is so interesting keep up the great work
I'll start with what I liked about the game. The pixelated art style, it's something that always draws me in and that's no exception here, to me the game looks fantastic, there's also a very good use of colour here. I enjoyed meeting and chatting with the various characters in the game, each one has their own unique relationship and past with Smoke and the dialogue options are a nice touch.
The overall story here is good, but very bizarre, that can either be a good or bad thing depending on who you are, to me it's a good thing as it gives the player something to think about while they explore the environments. Smoke doesn't necessarily represent the typical "drunk" depicted in a lot of media, he doesn't seem to be violent or aggressive in any way, he just appears to be a very sad bear trying to sort through his pain and anguish the only way he knows how, by drinking. Now of course this isn't always the best way to deal with pain, but I can understand where he's coming from having been in a similar position myself, I can't relate to the events in his life but I can relate to his solution. I like that I was able to connect with the main character like that in this game, even if it wasn't what was intended.
I don't have any complaints about the game and I'm happy to report that I didn't run into any bugs or errors while playing
I do however have a question. One of my viewers was wondering if the dialogue choices throughout the game have any weight on the overall ending, like if you choose to be aggressive with everyone do they hurt Smoke and then maybe he realizes he needs help or something?
All in all this was a bizarre and interesting game, one that made me think and one that allowed me to connect with a character in a way I didn't think I would. Very good work here.
I hope you don't mind but I made a let's play video of my time with the game over on my channel.
Cheers and best wishes to you,
Killjoy
Surprisingly fun little game. Well done!

wow this was bizarre and fun at the same time! Kind of reminded me of warioware a bit! Good job!
It's beautiful, it's sad, it's funny, it's fascinating, it's absurd, it's so much at once. That you have developed a game that also deals with alcoholism and did not make it ridiculous honors you very much in my opinion (I know, that sounds just like basic human decency one would hope for, but in my experience it's not always the reality...). Smoke is not portrayed as a violent or asshole-like creature, but as a fragile, somehow sad character who has to decide how he wants to continue his life. It's a story about regret and hope. That's at least how I understood the game and I'm glad that it gives me the space for this interpretation. I just thought it was fantastic, thanks for that. <3 That's why I recommended your game in an article on our blog and uploaded a playthrough video in the hope that more people will try it out for themselves. <3 I wish you a high ranking in the Ludum Dare 42! :)
Best wishes,
Sebastian
I enjoyed the funny conversations with people. Certain ones were very shocking. Art style is very nice too.
I think the game was pretty good. Love the art style, the music, and the way you told the story. Like, I noticed that each painted line for the divider on the road was different and not many games do that kind of detail in their games so good job on that. Also, I thought that it was pretty cool that you implemented a voice for the main character. Good game.
I figured out near the end that I had missed quite a bit of the dialogue, but this was a pretty interesting concept. Even if the story is a little sad, it's cool to see a subject like this covered in a game.
where can i find the link to the ld page?
